Tour de Yorkshire - race information

Riders will finish the first day of racing in Selby, on Thursday 2 May 2019.

Earlier that day, riders will set off from Doncaster. The route will see it skirting the southern edge of the district – visiting Little Smeaton and Womersley – before taking a loop towards Howden, Beverley and Pocklington then swinging back towards Selby and visiting Escrick, Stillingfleet, Cawood and Thorpe Willoughby on the way. The race will come into Selby town centre along Leeds Road and finish outside Selby Abbey.

Race times

We expect riders to be at the following points.

  • Escrick – 4.50pm-5.20pm
  • Cawood – 5pm to 5.30pm
  • Thorpe Willoughby – 5.20pm to 7.50pm
  • Selby town centre – 5.30pm to 6pm
