Sherburn in Elmet Parish By Election - Tuesday 26 October 2021

A request for an election for Sherburn in Elmet Parish Council has been received by a minimum of 10 electors in the parish in response to a Notice of Vacancy. The election is contested and will take place on Tuesday 26 October 2021. The Notice of Election can be viewed below.

The deadline to register for this election was Friday 8 October 2021 and this has now passed.

If you had not registered before this date you will be unable to vote in this election, but can register for any future elections by visiting www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.  

The deadline to apply for a postal vote was 5pm on Monday 11 October 2021 and has now passed.  You are therefore unable to apply to vote by post at this election, or to amend or cancel an existing postal vote.  

The deadline to apply for a proxy vote is 5pm on Monday 18 October 2021.
