Sherburn in Elmet is a village located in the heart of North Yorkshire, in between Leeds and York. It is one of only three places in the area to be associated with the ancient Celtic kingdom of Elmet, featuring the kingdom’s title in its name. 

The village is home to the stunning All Saints Church that dates from around 1120. The village also plays host to the popular ‘Sherburn- in-Elmet Craft and Food Festival’. The multi day festival takes place across the August bank holiday weekend. The programme of events lined up include, celebrity chef demonstrations, a cookery school and live music.
