SENIOR INFORMATION GOVERNANCE OFFICER
Salary £28,221 - £31,401 plus 3% performance related pay
Following the introduction of the new Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in May, we are looking to expand our team of information governance specialists.
As a Senior Information Governance Officer you will help to deliver information governance services to a number of our public sector clients. The role will include the development of action plans, policies and procedures, the supervision of staff and the provision of training and specialist advice. In addition, you will play a key role in the company’s ambitious plans to expand the delivery of services to new sectors and clients.
You should be able to manage your own time, develop good working relationships with clients and be able to communicate effectively. You should also be confident, excellent at identifying solutions and be willing to question and challenge established practices.
You should hold relevant qualifications in data protection and information governance. You should also have an in-depth knowledge of data protection and related legislation, and its application within the public sector.
The package includes membership of a company pension scheme, performance related pay, generous leave entitlement and flexible working arrangements.
The post will be based at our Northallerton office and will involve some travel.
