Selby is a small market town and home to a beautiful 11th century iconic Abbey, celebrating its 950th anniversary in 2019.
The Abbey anchors a range of independent shops and eateries with other attractions such as the Farmers market, Monday markets.

Recent success in seeing a £430,000 funding boost following a successful bid to the Historic England High Street Heritage Action Zone (HAZ). The funding is part of a £95m Government investment across 69 UK high streets. A programme of works and cultural activity will start from April 2020. and will be directed into works to revive areas of Selby town from April 2020.
