Context and Summary

It is important for the decision making on PLAN Selby, to be informed by an up to date assessment of the estimated impact of growth on traffic flows on the District’s key roads and junctions. This study provides the baseline evidence on strategic traffic flows across the District as at Autumn 2014.  This will be used as the foundation for further work to assess the impact of development options in the plan on the highway network. Discussions are taking place with North Yorkshire County Council on how the information in this baseline review can be taken forward in the future analysis of the traffic impact of planned and committed growth across the district.
