Context and Summary
It is important for the decision making on PLAN Selby, to be informed by an up to date assessment of the estimated impact of growth on traffic flows on the District’s key roads and junctions. This study provides the baseline evidence on strategic traffic flows across the District as at Autumn 2014. This will be used as the foundation for further work to assess the impact of development options in the plan on the highway network. Discussions are taking place with North Yorkshire County Council on how the information in this baseline review can be taken forward in the future analysis of the traffic impact of planned and committed growth across the district.
Focussed Engagement Consultatiaon (29 June 2015 - 10 August 2015)
The Focussed Engagement consultations undertaken between 29 June and 10 August 2015 were arranged to allow us to understand comments made in the Initial Consultation in more detail, talk about issues and options arising, and seek your views on a number of draft studies before they were finalised.
We are in the process of evaluating representations along with other evidence for PLAN Selby. We anticapate that we will go out for the preferred options consultation in the summer of 2016. More information on the timetable for PLAN Selby is available in the Authorities Monitoring Report.
