An important part of the creation of planning policy documents is an evidence base. The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) states that local planning authorities should ensure that their Local Plans are based on adequate, up-to-date and relevant evidence about economic, social and environmental characteristics and prospects of our area.
We've published a number of studies which will, when finalised, inform but not predetermine decisions to be made by the Council on what PLAN Selby should look like. All the evidence used to support PLAN Selby can be found below.
