Applications are now welcome for the North and East Yorkshire Building Excellence Awards 2020. The awards celebrate your achievements in the construction industry. They reward excellent buildings, outstanding companies and partnerships and individuals that go that extra mile. If you’ve used local authority building control for your project, then enter the awards to gain recognition and increase your reputation within the industry. The closing date for this year’s nominations is set as Friday 27 March 2020.
The 2020 ceremony is being held for the first time on a Friday, 5 June 2020 at The Principal Hotel, York.

The Council regions covered by the Awards are City of York, Craven District, East Riding of Yorkshire, Harrogate Borough and the North Yorkshire Building Control Partnership areas (Hambleton, Richmondshire, Ryedale, Scarborough and Selby).
The only requirements are that the development must have been overseen by Local Authority Building Control and have been completed at least one year prior to the event.
Anyone can nominate a development, as long as all members of the project team are recognised on the nomination form.
