Networking and information event for local landlords announced

Selby District Council is hosting a landlord’s forum to bring together landlords and guest speakers at a networking and knowledge sharing event.

In conjunction with the National Landlords Association (NLA), the event is a great way to meet other landlords, get important updates on legislation and make your voice heard.

The Council will also be sharing information about its free tenant finder service as well as other support services, information about our bond guarantee scheme and other advice that is available.

The event will take place on Thursday 6 June, starting at 1.30pm, at the Civic Centre in Selby.

Councillor and Executive member Cllr Chris Pearson, said, “Events of this kind are just one of the ways in which we work with local landlords and housing providers. Building close links and strong relationship enables us to strengthen the range and quality of rented accommodation on offer in the district which in turn helps those looking for suitable, good quality, homes.”

The NLA provides over 200 networking opportunities a year throughout the UK, offering a unique chance to connect with landlords, get exclusive discounts from suppliers, attend talks from expert speakers and liaise with local authorities. Hours spent attending NLA meetings will also contribute towards Continued Professional Development (CPD) for NLA Accredited landlords.
