Garden waste collection disruption

Image of green waste collection

Green garden waste collections won’t take place in some parts of the district this week.

This is because several staff members are isolating due to Covid-19, so we’re prioritising recycling and refuse collections.

The areas affected this week will have their bins emptied on their next scheduled date. Due to the Christmas pausing of garden waste collections this means the collections will take place week starting 4 January.

We’re sorry if this causes an inconvenience and we’re reviewing the situation every day so we can keep the key services running as normally as possible at this time.
