Flood Warden Groups
The Environment Agency is looking for people in local communities prone to flooding to volunteer as Flood Wardens.
Flood Wardens are individuals or groups who live or work in communities at risk of flooding. They're the eyes and ears on the ground, able to report back on river levels and affected areas. They have the benefit of local knowledge and experience of flooding in particular areas. They're a vital link between residents, local government and the Environment Agency.
