European Parliamentary Elections

The European Parliamentary Elections will be took place across the UK on Thursday 23 May 2019.

There are 751 Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), and of those, 73 represent the UK. In the UK, there are currently 12 European electoral regions, with each region being represented by between 3 and 10 MEPs. Selby District is part of the Yorkshire and the Humber region, and is represented by 6 MEPs.

Turnout for this election in the Selby district was 36.24%.  The regional turnout was 33.52%.
