We are now offering an opportunity to join our successful Customer Services team.  This enthusiastic, knowledgeable and professional team provides help and assistance on a wide range of key services offered by the Council including:

  • Council Tax and Benefits;
  • Housing (Social and Private);
  • Property Maintenance;
  • Environmental Health;
  • Refuse and Street Cleaning;
  • Planning; and
  • Neighborhood and Community Engagement.

Our excellent service offers support via the telephone, email and face to face appointments – driving customers to digital solutions, supported by self-service initiatives. Who are we looking for?

The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate: 

  • first class communication, influencing and organisational skills;
  • experience in a customer-facing environment;
  • excellent IT skills; and
  • a calm and confident approach in a challenging, customer driven environment.
