Selby District Council is committed to good customer service; so we want to hear any compliments, comments or complaints you may have.

We want you to tell us what we are doing well and let us know if you think there are areas where we could do better. This helps us to improve what we do and how we do it.

Sometimes you just want to get something sorted, and quickly.  The easiest way to do this is to tell us. 

If you’re not happy with the service we’re delivered or the way you’ve been treated, we want you to tell us so that we can put it right. Our Corporate Complaints Policy  tells you how you can make a complaint and how we’ll manage and respond to complaints.

The Local Government Ombudsman 

The Local Government Ombudsman is an independent body which investigates complaints about councils. Their annual review letter contains a summary of the complaints made to them about Selby District Council.
