It is a worrying time for everyone at the moment and there is understandably concern about the potential impact of Covid-19 on businesses. Find out more about business support here.
Business rates (also known as National Non-Domestic Rates or NNDR) are a tax on business properties. The tax is set by the government, and we collect it. We keep a proportion of the business rates paid in our area, so the money is directly used to help pay for our services in the region. You must let us know if you set up a new business or you change your business premises.
Business Grant funds are now open. Find out how to access the schemes here. Please note you will need your business rates account number - the first 7 digits only.
