Bishop Wood

Bishop Wood is a planted ancient woodland site and is one of the largest wooded area in the Humberhead Levels. It is planted predominantly with poplar pine and sycamore trees, but native trees such as Alder and Oak can also be found. Nightjars frequent the area and it is also a good wood for butterflies with a wide range of species being recorded.
