St. Mary's Church, Tadcaster

St Mary's Church is a 15th century church and is a perpendicular style with pinnacles. It is located in an attractive riverside setting with Roman connections. The interior has a magnificent east window by Morris/Burne-Jones and an unusual English window by Stephen Adam. It also features high level woodwork and many interesting memorials.

The church is open most days in summer. Groups are welcome by arrangement for guided tours and refreshments.
