Work is being undertaken by the Council's Planning Policy team to produce Development Briefs for sites earmarked for housing and employment development in the Selby District Local Plan. The Briefs will ensure that the layout of schemes meets sustainable development objectives (eg by encouraging cycling) and satisfies both the Council and local community aspirations with regard to design, and provision of services and facilities.
