Charity shops are a great way to get rid of unwanted items in good condition. Here is a list of the types of things they can take:
- Toner cartridges
- Mobile phones
- Foreign currency
- Hearing aids
- Spectacles
- Clothes for all ages and occasions
- Home furnishings, including curtains and linen
- Bric-a-brac or knick-knacks
- Toys, books and games
- Accessories, such as jewellery, hats and shoes
The following list of charities gives you a few ideas of where to take your old games, books and toys. However, most charity shops are delighted to receive any old items you have as long as they are in good condition (so no jigsaws with the last bit missing please!).
