Access Selby has signed up to take part in a national food hygiene rating scheme, supported by the Food Standards Agency.

This gives food retailers a score of between 0 and 5, so it's clear to everyone how well they're doing.

The aim is to help consumers, but also food retailers, by driving up standards across the district.
