Elections Officer for Selby District Council, Richard Besley, said, "Although we appreciate that this may cause some short-term inconvenience, the Access Selby office gives people a chance to vote right in the heart of the town centre, so it will make it easier for many people to combine voting with the rest of their daily business.
"As with polling stations across the district, the office will be open for voters between 7am and 10pm, giving people plenty of time to come along and cast their ballot."
If you have any questions about your own voter registration, please contact Selby District Council's elections team on 01757 292227. Further details about the forthcoming elections and voter registration can be found online.
