District Councils are required to conduct a review of polling places and polling districts every five years. The last review for Selby district was conducted in 2014, with the changes coming into effect from the elections held on Thursday 7 May 2015. If changes to polling places are required in between the five-yearly review, the council can undertake an interim review.
An interim review was undertaken between September and December 2016. The consultation period ran from Friday 30 September 2016 to Monday 31 October 2016. An outline from the final proposals and consultation responses recieved along with other documentation concerning the review can be found below.
