What’s the job?

The Assets team has responsibility for the repair, maintenance and improvement of the Council’s Housing Stock and all of the corporate buildings. The position is for an experienced and apprentice trained Bricklayer who is also capable of carrying out multi-skilling associated with building maintenance. 

Who are we looking for?

You should have significant experience in all aspects of Bricklaying together with having the relevant qualifications. Being flexible you will be responsible for your own work load and providing an excellent service to our customers.   By building trust and having excellent interpersonal skills you will quickly develop good working relationships with colleagues and partners. You should also be customer focussed and business like ensuring that the ethos of One ‘Team’ Selby is embraced.
